3 Opportunities for Parents or Kids Coming Up

Hi Reader,

We have 3 community support options coming up this week!

Now might be a great time to get some comfort, learn from our team, and connect with one another whether at:

  • Amber's in-person Autism Parent Support Group
  • Diana's online class on Sensory Meltdowns
  • Special Interest Group with Bonnie and Gabi (for ages 5-12).

Here are the details for each of these events:

Join our newest teammate from our merge with Thrive Outside, Diana Fitts, OTR/L for an informative and nurturing class on meltdown management, co-regulation, and recovery. We are closing registration this Friday, so please grab a spot! Diana created this series because:
When big emotions arise, our nervous systems go into protective survival mode, making logic hard to access and connection feel fragile. This series will help you see beyond behavior to the biology beneath, and then into practical ways to respond and support healing. Research shows that co-regulation and safety cues are foundational to calming a dysregulated nervous system (Schore, 2012). Each session includes time for questions and reflection so you can integrate the learning into your daily life with confidence.

Autism Parent Support Group with Amber: This Monday at 6:30

Special Interest Group: Animals and Insects (this Sunday) or Dinos (February)

As always, we hope you're doing well! Please let us know if you have any questions, and stay tuned for more supports and resources from us!

Warmly,

Rebekah and The Real Work Therapists
