Hi! I do both - art and mental health. As a mental health educator, I help teachers and parents boost young peoples’ social-emotional skills with my classroom-tested and home=based resources. And, as an artist, I create collage landscapes and illustrations using recycled fabric and paper. My picture book “Apples for Cider,” a pastiche of “Blueberries for Sal,” is an example of my collage illustrations. Recently, I launched my "phearnik!®" Campaign. The campaign boosts mental health skill building for kids and adults. I am focusing on this for 2025. Check out awsstudios.art where I blog about all of this.
